Night Cleaner – Live-in Couple – Seasonal Summer Role – Multiple Positions Available An exciting opportunity exists for a couple travelling in their own motorhome or caravan, wanting some seasonal work at our park located on Lake Taupo, between the townships of Taupo and Turangi. Our ideal candidates will not be afraid of hard work, will be reliable, flexible and capable of maintaining the park’s high level of presentation and customer service. This is a seasonal role starting in Mid-December 2019 and ending around Mid to late January 2020 (depending on occupancy). We are looking for a team of two, who work well together. They will both be required to work 4 days on, 4 days off on a roster, for approximately 4 hours per night between the hours of 11 pm and 3 am. This role will be shared with another couple doing the same hours on alternating days. There would be an expectation that each couple would be available to cover the other couple if the need arose due to sickness etc. You would be permitted to stay on-site in your own caravan or motorhome at a discounted site rate during our busiest season of the year! Common Duties – may include, but are not limited to: · Cleaning of park amenities blocks, rec room, kitchens, BBQ’s and laundries· Collection and disposal of rubbish· Identification and management of risks and hazards· Reporting of incidents and near misses· Park security walk – checking that recorded vehicles are where they should be on-site Skills and Experience · Proven experience with cleaning in a commercial environment· A focus on providing excellent customer service· Flexible attitude to work and hours· Understanding of WHS responsibilities or willingness to learn· Ability to work in a team environment or autonomously· Desire to work with the managers/owners to achieve success· Attention to detail· Good organisational skills To apply for this job, you must: · Have the right to work in NZ – NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa· Hold a current manual drivers’ license· Be able to pass a drug test and police vetting report· Be flexible with days worked and prepared to work varying hours.
