We are seeking a Newborn Hearing Screener for Hawke's Bay District Health Board who shares our values ofHe kauanuanu -Respect,Akina -Improvement,Raranga te tira -Teamwork andTauwhiro- Care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Newborn Hearing Screener to join our small, but dedicated, screening team in providing this service to all infants born in Hawke's Bay. The hours are part time and will include weekend work.
The position is based within the Audiology department at Hawke's Bay Hospital, which provides a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to the people of the Hawke's Bay community, covering newborns through to the elderly.
The role would suit someone who is comfortable working in a small team, is experienced with babies and has excellent communication skills.
No prior screening experience is required as full training will be provided, though preference would be given to candidates with prior training.
