The company
Our client is one of the leading Energy companies in New Zealand, the vital infrastructure that connects homes and businesses with the electricity networks. They believe it’s their job to manage and deliver a high quality, reliable supply of electricity their networks and in order to assist with this and in growing the network, they are looking for an Asset Engineer to join the team.
The job
This position is all about Network Performance Analysis and Operational Performance outcomes. As the Network Performance Improvement Lead you will be responsible for the regular review of network information and work closely with the data and analysis team. Together you will provide updates, support investigations into outages and drive towards better performance outcomes.
The ideal candidate
You will be an individual who understands root cause analysis frameworks and loves investigations into faults wanting to understand the details behind an issue. So you’re definitely not afraid to ask questions. You have the ability to clearly articulate technical aspects of the electricity sector. Ideally you have a background in electricity network maintenance, operating, construction perhaps even design experience.
