About this role | Mo tenei turanga This is a permanent full time role based in Whangarei. The focus of this role is to monitor, assess and analyse population changes, school roll fluctuations and other trends and changes impacting on the structure of the education provision at all levels of the education network. This will include, planning and analytical support, project design, interpreting data from a number of sources and creating meaningful insights. About you | Mohou ake You will have experience in an analytical role where you have extracted and reviewed data from different sources looking for trends, created reports highlighting risks and opportunities and presented your findings in a meaningful way to a variety of different stakeholders. You will also offer: Well-developed knowledge of statistical and/or demographic analysis with familiarity with a range of methodologies and techniques. Sound understanding of demography, including analysing, interpreting and communicating demographic information. Strong relationship management and communication skills. Experience engaging with iwi and government agencies would be advantageous. The ability to build a good understanding of the wider regional environment. The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Tangata Whenuatanga.
