This job is not for the feint-hearted, it will be up to you to be persistent, gain traction as quickly as you can, do your homework with existing and new clients, while all along being aware of the complexities of the numerous client relationships you will interact with.
To be successful in progressing further you will need to have the following attributes:
Have minimum 3 years business development and sales experience
Worked in the housing industry (or possibly in the retail building industry)
Be a good planner and developer of potential prospects
Strategic, good awareness of marketplace developments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relationship building expert
Exemplary customer service skills in all instances
Good reporting knowledge
Be able to travel out of Auckland overnight occasionally
Effective proven selling techniques
Adaptable, self-motivated, energetic, diplomatic
A team player who is thought driven for best-practice solutions
NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
Full NZ Drivers Licence
No criminal convictions
