Nanny/Carer/Home Help | Christchurch | Part Time - $23 Ph!

Part time Nanny/Home help look after 2 lovely and fun boys aged 8 and 12.
We are looking someone to work Tuesday and Thursday Hours are at least 1.30pm.-5.30pm but we are reasonably flexible and there is potentially more work / an earlier start time if you are able. Casual evening babysitting and weekend work is also available if you are interested and often there is more work in the holidays.
Our 12 year old has special needs. He enjoys books, puzzles, jumping on the trampoline, basketball, bike, bus and tram rides. He is very loving, (often giggly) and bonds well with adults. We try to integrate language and educational goals into daily activities and play.

Duties will include school pick up, taking the boys on outings, supervising play dates, meal prep/cooking and some household chores.
Our ideal Nanny is :
fun, capable and reliable experienced working with children but does not need to have experience with special needs (we can give training on that and I will be around initially) confident taking children on outings e.g. to the beach and playground and enjoys lots of play based activities. has a full drivers license and a safe car to transport the children
We live in Sumner so this would suit someone who lives close by. We are looking for someone who is keen to commit for at least this year and we will try and be flexible to accommodate changing university schedule/timetable over the year. No short term applicants please, we have had amazing carers in the past and really like it when they work for us longish term! Pay is $23 an hour.
