Nanny - Part Time - Khandallah, Wellington

I'm looking for a nanny to care for my two boys after pre-school/school. This would be perfect for someone studying teaching or nursing (but that’s not essential). My boys are full of energy, and have inquistive minds - they love to play and are particularly interested in science and the natural world. The job can be flexible to accommodate exams/placements etc. The job involves: collecting them from their respective schools (both in Khandallah) at 3/3.15pm and taking them home giving them afternoon tea playing and having fun! preparing and giving them a simple dinner at 5pm possibly popping them in the bath or shower after dinner keeping the house tidy as needed Requirements: Previous experience looking after children of similar ages (not just own children or family) Current drivers licence and car (we can provide car seats) Willingness to make a long term commitment (at least 6 months) Non-smoker References from previous employer(s) in childcare-related jobs
At the moment they only need care up to 4 days a week (2.45-5.45pm); excluding Thursday. Apart from that, the number of days per week, and which days, as well as the hourly rate, is negotiable. Thursdays could be added in future.
