Music Tutor (Guitar & African Drum) - HamiltonAs a Music Tutor, you will be responsible for leading engaging and educational music sessions.Responsibilities include:Teaching basic to intermediate guitar skills to participants.Providing instruction in African drumming techniques and rhythms.Preparing lesson plans that are engaging and accessible to all skill levels.Encouraging and motivating students to develop their musical abilities.Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.Assisting with community events where music can be incorporated.Requirements:Proficiency in playing the guitar and African drums.Experience in teaching or mentoring (preferred but not required).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for music and cultural education.Must pass a background check to ensure the safety and integrity of our programmes.A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.Time commitment: 2-4 hours per week (Group Session, Saturdays).Getting started: The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below.
