Referrals may come via NDIS, Medicare, or private clients.
This is a mobile role, with options to work from home or our hubs when not seeing clients.
Responsibilities include:Assessing and providing interventions for children and adults with disabilitiesWorking within the NDIS to maximize clients' function, capacity, and social engagementAssisting with assistive technology assessments, recommendations, and applications (in relevant fields)Timely documentation and report writingManaging a varied caseloadMeeting professional expectations, including billables and client managementBuilding relationships with stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sourcesUsing leading software platforms and online toolsThe NewGrad ProgramConnect2Care offers a tailored New Graduate Program to ease the transition into the workplace, supporting recent graduates over 12 months, starting from your first day.What to Expect:Weekly 1:1 supervisionCore competency trainingFortnightly group mentoringMental health drop-in sessionsInternal professional development sessionsShadowing with experienced cliniciansLearning from senior clinicians within multidisciplinary teamsWith over 100 therapists, many with specialized expertise, you'll have opportunities to expand your knowledge and learn from the best.RequirementsTo apply, you should have or be able to obtain:Relevant tertiary qualificationsDiscipline-specific registration (e.g., AHPRA/SPA)Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)NDIS Worker Screening CheckPolice and International Police Checks (if applicable)Driver's license and reliable vehicleCar insuranceProfessional Indemnity & Public Liability insuranceWe value a positive work culture and work-life balance, believing that happiness is key to success.
