About the Role
We are looking for hands on Shift Supervisor to join our new Mobile plant located in Ashburton. Not only is this a fantastic opportunity to extend your skills and career but you will be first to operate the newest technology and tools from overseas!
This is not your ordinary Supervisor role. This is a hands-on role. Where you will be part of monitoring the newest Polyethene extrusion line which is containerised all the latest technology.
You will be responsible for leading a team of 2 production operators to ensure the extrusion production runs smoothly and to the required quality while making sure your team are set up up with the right tools and support to operate safely.
About you
The role requires someone who is focussed on quality, safety, and leading and motivating a small team of 2 people. Preferably you have previous supervisory and plastics experience.

This role requires of you to travel remotely within NZ. Your time will be spent between the Ashburton plant and to other remote locations. We operate on a rotating 12-hour shifts, 4 days on (two days shifts, two-night shifts) then 4 days off. If working remotely operation rotates to 6 days on 6 days off.
Applicants must have a clean driver’s license, good oral and written English skills, and good numeric skills and be physically fit with the ability to safely handle heavy equipment and products.
