Aria Lounge & Bar -The sophisticated lounge bar is open all day for guests to celebrate a special occasion with our exquisite Wedgwood High Tea, classic cocktails, fine Champagnes and international wines which are served alongside a contemporary menu.

Skills and experience
Have a thorough knowledge of all menu and wine list items, in order to be able to accurately advise guests.
Maintain accurate knowledge of all food and beverage prices.
Attend and comprehend all information discussed at pre and post service briefing sessions.
Recognise opportunities to use up-selling techniques, in order to increase the average food and beverage check.
Confidently make food and beverage recommendations to guests.
Responsible for pre-service preparation.
Ensure that the quality and presentation of beverages is served to the set standards. Any concerns must be reported to the Shift Leader.
Be familiar with food and beverage service etiquette, serving all food and beverage in a professional manner and to the required standards.
Our ideal candidate will have:

A taking initiative attitude with a creative flair to assist in developing cocktail and beverage products that are innovative and profitable, across the food and beverage division.
Someone with charisma who will natural engage with our guests and provide them with the heartfelt service.
Ideally previous experience in a hotel or restaurant bar A strong passion and interest for beverages who is to develop their skills and knowledge further with The Langham Melbourne.
Availability to work weekends and evening shifts is a must.
