Due to strong continued growth, a promising opportunity has arisen for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to work for a top mining company, operating a major open cut operation. In this role you will play a key part in the on-going maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy mobile earthmoving and mining equipment on site. Working with a fleet that utilises some of the best machinery available in the market, industry safety standards that are second to none and a wealth of knowledge in their leadership teams, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop your technical skills and experience, and will be rewarded with progression opportunities and a growing pay-packet.
Residentially based in the easy going, easily accessible South Island and working to a roster that will allow you the flexibility to enjoy your down-time with a variety of outdoor and sporting pursuits, you will have the bush on your doorstep and the big smoke a stones’ throw away.
