In this Industry no two days are the same, you will need to be able to think on your feet and make quick decisions. Having a sense of humour and the ability to interact with all walks of life is a must.
The successful contractor would be a registered company with appropriate insurances for yourself and your truck.
You’ll need the ability to finance or purchase a new class 4 sign written curtain-side truck, with a tail lift or already have a late model truck.
You will have:Current Class 4 Drivers LicenceTransport Services LicenceDangerous Goods LicenceFork hoist LicenceAbility to comply with TIL Freights health and safety proceduresGood knowledge of NZ legislation and codes of practice relating to transport industryGeographical knowledge of ManawatuMaintain a clean and tidy truckScan all your freight
Pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing, MOJ and ACC checks will be required for the successful applicant.
