You will provide actionable information to key clinicians that enhances the value and appropriate use of AstraZeneca's products to internal stakeholders; respond to customer inquiries to ensure focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of AstraZeneca's products and services and develop appropriate clinical and scientific information that clinically differentiates AstraZeneca's products.Essential For The RoleBachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (ex: Medicine, Pharmacy or disease related science)Experience within field Medical AffairsExperience in pharmaceutical industryExperience with basic research, drug discovery, drug development and KOL interactionsExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent project management skillsExcellent presentation skillsHigh level analytical and conceptual thinkingStrong leadershipAbility to travel nationallyDesirable for the roleMaster's degree/PhD/PharmD in a scientific discipline or MD and extensive experience within Medical and previous team management experience; MBAExperience in respiratory or immunology therapy areasKnowledge of the latest technical and regulatory developmentsExperience in product launch or strategy development and executionDemonstrated expertise in drug information communicationStrong knowledge of New Zealand healthcare marketWhy AstraZeneca?At AstraZeneca Australia and New Zealand, you'll find inspiring and passionate colleagues who are encouraged to reach their full potential.
