Working effectively with other staff in the department to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients

Your skills will include the following:
Being a highly motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team as well as independently

Registration (or eligibility register) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the New Zealand Medical Sciences Council is essential
Experience in molecular genetics or cytogenetics would be an advantage, however, full training will be provided
Previous experience working as a scientist in a diagnostic genetic laboratory is advantageous
