About the Centre
Team Medical at Kapiti operates as an integrated family health centre providing full GP care from Monday to Friday, and an Urgent Care Clinic for accidents and urgent medical care, that is open 8.00am to 10.00pm seven days a week. We have full x-ray facilities on site and are aligned to the Life Pharmacy sited beside the practice.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
Management and responsibility for clinical administration and clerical staff.
Continuous Quality Improvement and Risk Management. Being familiar with legislation and ensuring that the centre is legally compliant.
Financial Management
Human Resources: conduct interviews, oversee recruitment, complete appropriate weekly reports, ensure personnel files are up to date.
Maintain key internal and external relationships, to ensure a harmonious and professional working environment.
You will bring to the role:
Prior experience in Practice Management in a GP practice is desirable but not essential.
Previous primary care management or administration experience.
Understanding of Cornerstone Accreditation/Quality improvement experience.
Understanding of primary care funding mechanisms.
Financial management and/or accounting skills.
Clinical knowledge desirable but not essential.
Working knowledge of MedTech-32, Microsoft word and excel.
Have strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to delegate and direct others in a positive and sensitive way.
