About the Role
Join a team of experienced Technicians in an atmosphere where autonomy and flexibility will complement the challenging and interesting technical environments you will support. As one of our Mechanical Technicians you will help support and maintain the mechanical operations and maintenance systems within our Gas Processing facilities.With no two days the same, you will self-manage the maintenance of Mechanical equipment within an assigned area of plant, respond to emergencies and breakdowns across the plant as well as liaise with 3rd party suppliers and contractors in an environment where "work life balance" is a principal cultural driver.Who are we looking for
To be successful it is essential you have appropriate industry trade certification to at least NZQA Level 4 in Mechanical Engineering or NZQA level 4 in Motor Industry. In addition, a number of years’ experience in maintaining mechanical equipment within petrochemical, power generation or similar industrial plants. Here, your strong communication skills, energetic and can-do attitude will hold you in good stead, as will your ability to work well as part of a team and willingness to learn and develop in a fast paced, challenging industry.
