Roles are available at various levels, from five years of relevant experience to senior lead mechanical engineers, where your expertise will enhance our water design capabilities.This role is open across New Zealand, with locations including Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Hawkes Bay, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Tauranga, and Wellington.Key Responsibilities:Investigation and Development: Analyze water infrastructure challenges and develop solutions addressing client needs.Detailed Design: Understand hydraulics and contribute to designing mechanical water systems, integrating with water, wastewater, stormwater treatment plants, and pump stations.Technical Proficiency: Use NZ Codes and Standards to ensure project compliance and quality, staying updated on industry trends.Communication: Present ideas, share insights, and collaborate effectively with teams and clients.Modelling and CAD Expertise: Use Inventor, AutoCAD, and other software to guide modelling of mechanical water systems.Lateral Thinking: Employ creative and pragmatic thinking to craft effective project solutions.Risk Management: Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies for sustainable projects.Team Dynamics: Collaborate within a team environment to contribute meaningfully to project outcomes.Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding and meeting their needs.If you're ready for a role where your mechanical engineering skills lead to advancements in water infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
