About the Role
We are looking for a solid all-rounder to assist in our workshop and onsite with service work, breakdowns and repairs. This will be for a range of equipment including; access gear, tele-handlers, excavators and various other construction plant. You will be a team player who also has the ability to work independently. You will also be self-motivated and pro-active. This role requires approximately a week and a half a month on the road, maintaining access gear and our tele-handler fleet. This will require travel around Southland, Otago and Canterbury. Access gear experience is not necessary, full training and qualifications will be given.
Skills and Attributes:
Good working knowledge in the fundamentals of mechanical and electrical workings
Trade qualified or highly experienced fitter or other mechanical trade desirable
Previous experience maintaining a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience using technology (i.e. Tablets)
A strong work ethic towards Health and Safety
Basic servicing background desirable
