We are an all-inclusive business offering new boat sales of world-leading brands as well as brokerage sales of pre-owned powerboats. As a Mercury Outboard and Mercruiser Sterndrive certified dealer, Chapman Marine Group also specialises in parts and accessories and marine servicing of various brands.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Full-Time Marine Mechanic to join our on-water service department located at the Sydney Boathouse in Rozelle Bay.
Responsibilities:
Pre-delivery and servicing of all new and used Mercury & Mercruiser Engines, Outboards & Stern drives
Installation of new Mercruiser and Mercury engines to new and second-hand boats
General mechanical repairs on various brands of outboards and stern drives
General electrical repairs and fault finding
Installation of marine electronics and optional equipment
Proficient use of Workshop computer software system

Skills:
Ideally the successful applicant will be a qualified Marine Mechanic that has experience with Mercury engines,however if you are a qualified mechanic in another field and looking for a change we are very interested in interviewing you.
You Must:
Be willing to undertake Mercury authorised factory training
Be a team player with a can-do attitude and strong customer service ethic
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Possess good general computer knowledge
Possess an Australian recognised motor vehicle licence
