Maths And/Or English Tutor

We are looking for capable and energetic Maths and/or English tutors to assist at our busy after school tuition centre, beginning in October. You must be keen to work with children aged 5-16 and be confident in teaching NCEA level content up to Level 1 Maths or Level 1 English.
For this role we highly prefer First Year University students due to continuity of job length (must be available to work part-time until end of 2020 at least). You must be able to work the weeks of the Primary School year and be available to work during the University holidays too (eg: weekdays until 13th December 2019, then starting again 21st January 2020).
Previous tutoring or mentoring experience would be an advantage, but is not essential. It is important that you are a team player, enjoy working with kids and have a friendly smile! If you're shy around people, then this won't be the job for you.All candidates must: Be able to work the weeks of the Primary School year and be available to work during the University holidays too Be available to work in the Burnside area from 3pm-6pm, two to three days per week Be confident and able to teach using great communication skills Have a natural ability to connect with children of all ages
