We have an exciting opportunity available for a Mathematics (Statistics and or Calculus) kaiako/ teacher to join our 9-13 team.
The ideal candidate will be culturally aware and enjoy the challenge of working within a modern learning environment with a focus on akonga/ student centred learning.
This position is suitable for either PCT or experienced teachers who are currently registered with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
The successful candidate will have: A Degree qualification Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability and confidence teaching Y9-13.
Ability to teach senior mathematics Experience with planning and delivering integrated learning programmes for Y9–10.
A commitment to providing extra curricular opportunities for akonga.
Sound organisational skills and details-oriented approach.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong pastoral skills to support in the role of Puna Ako Kaiako/Form Teacher Sound communication skills to support akonga, whanau and Kaimahi.
