Master Machine Operators- Are You The Best?

You will be an experienced machine Operator who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a great team who enjoy the challenges of working on varied and tricky work sites.

You will be part of operating a modern fleet of diggers, trucks, rollers, graders ranging in size.
You must be self-motivated, well organised and have a sharp eye for efficiencies and exceeding customer's expectations, have good oral and written communication skills and have the ability to work unsupervised as well as work well in a team environment.
Experience in reading plans, setting out, machine operating, drainage, trenching, finishing, working to levels, concrete paving, and foundation work is required as well as exposure to other civil works including curb and channel and block retaining walls.
You will be on the ground as well as planning and resourcing.

Candidates for this position should possess:

Minimum class 1 NZ licence with WTR’s and willing to obtain a Class 2 Licence
Construct Safe Certificate
Experience with Machine Control would be an added benefit
Be prepared to work in all weather conditions and happy to get stuck into whatever tasks need doing.
Value good gear and know how to look after it
Ability to ensure the plant you operate is maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
A good level of physical fitness and not afraid to get your hands dirty
Able to work safely and to respect the environment we work in
Good timekeeping and reliability
