The role
The role of Marketing Specialist has been created to take responsibility for developing and implementing customer focused marketing strategies to build awareness, inspire interest and drive growth across all of Weta Workshop’s Tourism products in both Wellington and Auckland.
We’re looking for a hands-on all-round marketer with exceptional people skills and the ability to work across all consumer (off and online) trade, and MICE (Meetings Incentives Conferences Events) marketing channels.
A key member of the Communications team you’ll also provide your expertise across Weta Workshop to explore new ideas and ways to reach and engage audiences across multiple channels.
What will you be doing?
Strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns and activities Manage marketing budgets Develop and maintain key industry and stakeholder relationships Oversee regular research and reporting programme Content collation and oversight Digital marketing
What we’re looking for from you?
Extensive experience in developing marketing strategy and execution Proven experience in developing and delivering successful digital campaigns Solid execution and time management skills Loads of initiative and a proactive solution focused approach to problem solving Creative and outgoing you’ll enjoy working with others to come up with new ideas An awesome people wrangler you relate well at all levels with people from all walks of life. A love of all things digital with a passion for keeping up with new trends/technology.
Technical skills & experience?
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe PhotoShop. Solid working knowledge of Content Management System’s (CMS) Proven experience using marketing and sales tools such as CRM’s, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms. A tertiary qualification in Marketing or similar
