New Zealand Blood Service is a Crown Entity provider of blood services for New Zealand - they provide safe and appropriate blood and tissue products and related services ensuring NZ has a sustainable supply relying on the goodwill of unpaid and enthusiastic blood donors. They are focussed on providing excellence and meeting the needs of donors, patients, its staff and the wider healthcare community. This role is based in Newmarket.

About the role
This role supports the National Marketing Manager and Communications and is a newly created role within the marketing team.
This role has a very important task to drive new blood donors to join donor panels and then ensure they stay engaged. Running nationwide campaigns end to end campaigns supported by some fabulous agencies as well as personalized retention messages.
This role has a digital focus (Social Media/Website/variety Online comms), print collateral working with a range of internal and external stakeholder teams

About you
You will be:

strategic and be comfortable rolling out and optimising campaigns
familiar working within complex organisations and know how to get things done
from a range of industries/sector but most importantly you will be genuine and authentic
collaborative and comfortable working with a range of internal and external agencies to get the job done
able to write succinct briefs and manage advertising agency resources on time and budget
naturally curious and empathetic, excellent at building and maintaining relationships
