You’ll bring the brand strategy and customer journey to life. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing marketing and communication strategies from conception through to implementation which highlight the brand as a leader in their industry. You’ll wear multiple hats that include managing brand strategy, customer experience, content creation, product management and leadership. You’ll be reporting into the General Manager and will be managing a graphic designer alongside a part-time marketing assistant focused on digital.
Responsibilities include:
Brand Strategy
• To own the brand strategy
• To understand the full customer journey and the role of different touch points
• To understand and monitor the competitive landscape
Brand Execution
• To manage the media, PR and promotional calendar, including idea generation, target setting, material creation, media selection, team briefings and reporting
• To manage the website, including design, content creation, SEO/SEM and reporting
• To create and implement the social media strategy, including content creation, channel selection, community management and reporting
Product Management
• To manage the brand supplier relationships for existing retail brands
• To manage the portfolio strategy for retail and service offers
• To contribute to the identification of new product and service offers
• To manage products and services through their lifecycle, from launch to deletion
Leadership
• To lead, motivate and develop 2 team members
• To champion the company values
Ideal candidate:
• Minimum 5 years marketing experience in the beauty/hair/luxury markets
• Experience across all elements of marketing including digital, customer experience and content creation
• Ability to develop brand strategy but also very comfortable to be "hands on" in execution
• Motivating leader of a small team
• Energised self-starter, can do attitude
• Strong service marketing experience highly regarded
