About the role:
We're on the hunt for a dynamic Marketing Manager to deliver creative and imaginative stories and engaging communications to our valued B2B customers. This is a fixed term opportunity for 12 months, you'll work internally with our product development teams (we follow Agile methodology), and externally with some of NZ's best advertising and marketing agencies.
You'll be responsible for implementing integrated marketing campaigns, contact programmes and campaign communications for current and potential customers. We want someone that can shift consumer perceptions, deliver reductions in churn and grow business customers value share of Genesis.
Key responsibilities:
Work with Senior Marketing Manager and Agile squad to create and implement customer-led marketing strategies and contact programmes to drive customer engagement and advocacy.
Brand advocate who influences Agile teams to deliver a branded customer experience throughout the customer journey across key touchpoints and marketing channels.
Map key customer journeys for your area of responsibility and identify and deliver compelling, integrated customer communications to drive customer metrics (advocacy, engagement, acquisition, conversion and retention).
Be a Marketing subject matter expert through best practice research, market intelligence, internal/external networks and industry sources to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of leading marketing practices across multiple customer channels and touchpoints.
About you:
At least 5 years' experience in marketing in large, complex service focussed organisations.
Knowledge of insight led, data driven marketing strategy and execution.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills and demonstrated experience working cross functionally to deliver strategic goals.
Credibility and capability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce or similar.
A collaborative, proactive and engaging style will be key in enabling you to work alongside the wider business and external parties. Additionally, demonstrated influencing and stakeholder management skills, strength of character and a strong, credible track record of delivery and excellence in execution and are essential.
