We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who is passionate about delivering innovative marketing campaigns. You will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and you will implement solutions that grow market share and brand reputation to drive growth. As one of Massey University's senior marketers, the successful applicant will need to be a fast learner and a sharp thinker. You will need some very special abilities in understanding trends and be able to see opportunities, and you will be future-focused and open to disruption with a thirst for success.
You will also be a contemporary and empathetic leader, with the qualities of being able to build and share a vision, collaborate for the greater good with partners and the Marketing, Recruitment and Alumni team, whilst demonstrating commercial and entrepreneurial acumen.
This role will work closely with the team to develop and implement an international brand strategy that aligns with the overall University brand strategy. And this role will develop and lead the implementation of international marketing strategies and campaigns to match up to the University's goals for the future including the recruitment of international students onshore and offshore through Massey Global Engagement.
To be successful in this role we require:
A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or equivalent business experience in marketing
Ideally seven years of demonstrable experience as a marketing/campaign executive
Proficiency in international brand management, market research, advertising, campaign management and post-campaign analysis
Proven ability to deliver brand and marketing plans
Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information in a concise and compelling manner
Skills in working with analytics and complex systems
Experience working within a University
