In other words Sidekick kicks @$#!Be More Successful with Sidekick!Job Overview :The Sidekick Marketing Coordinator/Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the marketing department for the Sidekick group. This role can be based in either our Christchurch, Timaru or Ashburton offices and once in the role there is flexibility to work from home regularly too. This role covers the whole South Island, most of this can be done remotely but some occasional travel will be involved too. The role is for 24 hours/week but there is room to move on this, for the right candidate. This includes a wide variety of technical and managerial tasks involved in keeping a number of marketing projects moving forward at once as well as making sure the day to day marketing efforts are successfully completed. Sidekick is a unique accounting business as we provide a multi service offering (small business accounting, rural accounting, commercial accounting and advisory).Job Responsibilities:Managing delivery of social media content on a number of social platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc)Writing, collating and distributing newslettersManaging design (both internal projects and outsourced design)Website maintenance, updates and monitoring (Some elements of this could be technical for those with recent website development experience)Managing the Sidekick Youtube channel (editing videos, uploading videos, publishing content)Managing the SidekickTV podcast (uploading & editing)Management of a variety of marketing projects that are often self-led.Assisting various people around the group with organising and planning events.Ideal Candidate Qualities :SWAN - Smart, Work Hard, Ambitious, Nice, the criteria we apply to all potential team membersPrevious marketing experience essential , ideally at least 3 yearsWe want someone who is organised, motivated and happy to work autonomously when neededRecent experience with website development could be a valuable additional assetPrevious experience with marketing strategy and implementation would be an advantageApplications close on the 16th April, all applicants will be contacted within 1 week of the close date.
