Marketing Assistant/Coordinator

We are a forward thinking plumbing company, hungry to grow our customer base, secure new quality contracts, raise our profile, and get it out there as to the exceptional plumbing services we provide.We are looking for a Marketing and Communications champion to help us plan and co-ordinate new and improved lines of marketing, and help direct us in those areas where we will get most bang for our buck!Areas we would like to focus on, but are not limited to, are: Website SEO and getting us started with Google Adwords Updating our website with fresh interesting content Utilising Facebook for business to the full potential and posting regular interesting relevant content. An in depth working knowledge of this fast moving medium is preferred Utilising other social media platforms - Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest where effective. Helping us create short engaging videos for social media use Setting up Mailchimp using our solid existing customer database and sending out regular communications - newsletters, blogs, special promotions etc. Targeted marketing and communication to certain parts of our database that have been segmented into groups. Ideas for print marketing and direct mail Actively seeking new marketing opportunities - digital, print or general networking Help with measuring and ensuring our advertising dollars are channelled into the most effective mediums. We are looking for: A positive, self motivated, enthusiastic and results driven person. Great copy-writing skills are preferred with the ability to create interesting and engaging content. Strong english verbal communication skills. The ability to keep up with the fast paced digital marketing trends and adapting these to suit the business Knowledge of the plumbing industry would be helpful but by no means essential
Graphic design skills are not essential as we have a lady in our team with fantastic skills in this area that we can utilize!
As this is largely online digital marketing, the successful applicant can work from our business premises or from their home or any location they prefer.Pay rate and hours are negotiable, dependent on skill level and whatever is needed to be most effective for the business.
