Job Description

Are you looking for a part-time role in a small and friendly team? The Faculty of Arts Communications and Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Assistant.
This is a fixed-term position of 10-12 hours per week from March until 13 November 2020.
About the role
We need you to help us with a range of marketing activities to promote our dynamic faculty and to support student recruitment. You will have lots of variety and will work closely with our Marketing Adviser.
Your responsibilities include:
assisting with the co-ordination of communication campaigns
collating and organising student and alumni profile materials
co-ordinating photo shoots
sourcing images.
Who are we looking for?
You will be able to bring the following qualities to the role:
an excellent standard of written English and a meticulous eye for detail
confident communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a variety of staff, students and alumni
excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise different tasks
a proactive approach with loads of initiative
creativity and a good visual sense
reliability, maturity, discretion, flexibility and a willingness to help where required.
An understanding of the student experience at the University of Auckland would be a considerable advantage.
