Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Marketing and Communications superstar to join our busy Christchurch team.You'll be an integral member of our business support team and will provide marketing and communications expertise to support the growth of the company.About the roleWorking with the leadership and wider DO team and reporting to the Office Manager you will be responsible for marketing and communication including:Brand building activities.Delivering a dynamic marketing strategy.Establishing and growing partnership and networking opportunities.Bid writing and proposal preparation. This will involve the following key responsibilities:Coordinating the internal and external communication.Planning and managing social media channels. Managing and updating the company website. Coordination of external marketing agencies.Development of marketing material including case studies, web copy and press releases to successfully position the brand.Coordinating with the DO team and third parties to prepare high quality proposal responses that are compliant, structured, succinct and meet the project requirements. About you To be successful in this role you will:Have proven marketing and bid management experience and be able to build effective relationships internally and externally. Be innovative, strategic, analytical and have experience developing sales collateral, marketing and promotional activity. Have experience working within the online/media environment and using web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Site Catalyst etc. Have excellent attention to detail with strong creative, strategic, analytical, organisational and time-management skills. Have excellent communication skills (writing, editing and content development) and experience translating technical concepts into plain English writing. Have a successful track record with consumer insights, stakeholder and media management. Have experience in bid writing or similar business writing capacity. Be a motivated team player, able to work well with others across a range of levels. An appreciation of technical environments such as engineering, architecture or construction would also be advantageous.The salary for this exciting role will be dependent on applicant's experience and skills.
