Develop and strengthen relationships with keystakeholders within these schools to gain increased access torequired students and increase the profile and reputation of theuniversity with students.Implement initiatives as part of SRA plans that provide timelyengagement opportunities for prospective students and theirinfluencers that display Massey's expertise.Carry out effective SRA recruitment campaigns underscored with awell-integrated communication plan, which is positive with relevantmessages about Massey contributing to the reputation of theuniversity.Stakeholderengagement • Develop and maintain excellent relationships within PR, Colleges,national shared services and campus teams to facilitate an integratedrecruitment approach.Representative for PR in attending meetings as required, being aprincipal point of contact for PR, liaising with the campus events teamand Regional Campus Operations Managers to co-ordinate PR.Support the Student Recruitment Manager and the wider PR teamand other campuses as and when required.Identify opportunities for Massey engagement with external groups inthe region.Recruitment eventsEnsure the maintenance of contacts and recruitment effectiveness,using available technology – SMS, RAPID and CRM technologyMonitor data and conduct outcome assessment on efforts.Develop follow up strategies in collaboration with Marketing, AccountManagers and Program Managers based on market data.Provide regular communication, information, and data to teammembers, partners, academic program leaders, and others asappropriate about student recruitment goal attainment.Conduct large secondary school presentations, as well as individualmeetings with Secondary School students and parents.Main ProductKnowledge • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Massey University'srange of programmes, points of difference and student experienceinformation.Deliver accurate and timely information about Massey University,specific programmes and the enrolment process to prospectivestudents, families and school representatives.Remain current regarding recruitment best practices, seekinginnovation and creativity in introducing new approaches to ouractivities and efforts.4Qualifications and ExperienceQualifications: A relevant tertiary qualificationFull New Zealand driver’s licenseExperience: • Demonstrated a capacity for providing advice, and a proven record ofaccomplishment of developing strong and effective relationships inthe achievement of strategic outcomes.Experience of working in a customer-focussed role, often workingunder pressure and to tight deadlines.The ability to present to, and engage a range of audiences.Secondary school or tertiary education sector knowledge andexperience would be considered advantageous.Proven experience working as part of a highly motivated team andgaining the respect of peers and stakeholders.Experience in strategic planning and implementation, operationalexecution and reporting.Experience of leading large-scale Secondary School and influencerevents – on-campus and off-campus.Proven ability to establish and develop effective relationships withschool communities, industry, community groups and internalstakeholders would be an advantage.Capabilities:Communication • Conducts discussions in a respectful manner that are sincere andfully expressed.Essential • Develops a clear, complete understanding of needs and problemsthrough careful ...
