How you\'ll make an impact:
You will be producing animal sera, a high value product for global clients. This is done in a large scale, purpose built and modern production environment in the biotech industry. You will perform day to day production-based tasks, following a centrifugation process in an active, on your feet role. You will be working with a supportive small team across Tuesday to Saturday 5am ? 1.30pm.
What will you do?
Be trained over a period of time in a number of serum processes, taking full responsibility of the task when confident and working as a team to get all manufacturing tasks done each day.
Record manufacturing processes in real time and neatly, in batch manufacturing records.
Perform all work using the appropriate SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), batch sheet, etc.so that the same standards are followed by everyone.
Ensure plant hygiene and housekeeping is always maintained.
Assist in the maintenance of relevant manufacturing areas and equipment to an excellent standard of cleanliness, tidiness and maintenance.
How will you get here?
Academic qualifications ?Minimum NCEA Level Two, or Sixth Form Certificate, with some Science and Mathematics related subjects
Experience working in a manufacturing, processing, horticultural or agricultural environment preferred
