Reporting to the Environmental, Quality and Risk Manager, we are seeking a Manufacturing Systems Manager to manage and lead the day to day operations of our Manufacturing Systems, Quality and Risk Team.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage and maintain systems and processes to ensure the business achieves the required safety, environmental, quality performance objectives;
Development and improve operational information systems and manufacturing systems;
Maintain ISO 9000 certification
Manage the Kinleith Mill Emergency Plan
Ensure assets are protected and expenditure is properly managed, contributing to a long term viable business.
Ensure the current security system is maintained including the gate security system
Support the shuts including managing security, asset protection, access, and personal isolation locks
Develop and maintain effective programs for auditing, facilitation, and coordination of technical assistance to the organisation and sites, in relation to the HSAW Act and the MHF Regulations and requirements.
Ensure internal and external audit program completed to plan
Gaps in audits captured, prioritised and person responsible assigned
The successful Applicant will have the following attributes:
Relevant tertiary qualification in quality systems or engineering degree or equivalent work experience;
Management or supervisory experience;
Experienced in developing and implementing effective systems and processes;
A background within a continuous heavy manufacturing environment preferred;
Understanding of risk management
Familiar with of ISO / ISO 9000 and the auditing requirements
Preferably hold a Quality Systems Auditing certificate;
Experienced with identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities;
A high level of computer skills is required
