Great pay Opportunity for overtime Ongoing training and opportunities for career development Friendly team environment Wiri location work close to home Stability APD Ltd has been operating for 35 years and is growing fast Newly created position make the role your own APD Ltd is a leading designer manufacturer of Stormwater and Chemical Storage solutions for the NZ and Australian markets We are a solutions based business providing products designed to deliver exactly what our customer needs APD is an NZ owned company that has been providing high quality solutions in plastics for over 35 years We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of our Detention Tanks and Moulding section You will work closely with our Operations Manager and be the key driver in the delivery and performance of these divisions to ensure we deliver our products on time to our customers Your key responsibilities and duties in the role include Motivate train and develop your team Recommend process improvements to achieve optimal production efficiency Be prepared to step in and get your hands dirty when necessary to assist your team to achieve optimal workflow You are a collaborative leader able to retain a cool head adapt to change and most importantly be able to present strategies for improvements to aid our growth Ideally you will have experience with either rotational moulding or the fabrication welding industry but this is not essential You will have 3 years proven experience supervising leading and motivating a small 815 manufacturing team and you will have been responsible for ensuring production deadlines are met without loss of quality To apply for this job go to apdlimited recruitmenthub co nz Applications close 10am 30 March 2020
