As the Inventory Manager at CARTERS Whangarei Manufacturing , you will have full responsibility for all internal inventory, stock ordering and movements, and be able to improve process that is crucial to inventory within a manufacturing plant. You will also work in consultation with other team members to ensure that CARTERS is part of an active health and safety culture. This is a pivotal role that plays a huge part in our drive to deliver an exceptional and consistent service to our building trade customers. Managing the effective flow of product, placing stock orders to minimum levels Proper receipting, documentation, and processing of all incoming goods Assessing and investigating stock variances and stock adjustments Running 11 stocktakes per year, with regular cycle counts. Elements of procurement, liaising with internal staff and external suppliers Champion health and safety processes and initiatives. Managing the H&S administration, reporting on risks and incidents Keeping licences up to date Inspire, support and motivate team members around you to encourage growth and succession. About you You will be process driven with strong organisation skills and multi-tasking abilities. A skilled administrator who is adept at managing their time, with proven ability to work well under pressure and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport Advanced computer skills and attention to detail Previous experience working in a similar role within inventory or logistics is ideal.
