Manufacturing Engineer About the Role Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager at our Papakura site you will take responsibility for providing technical engineering support to the manufacturing reliability team as well as drive the technical engineering continuous improvement activities across the manufacturing business This is a fantastically varied role with a mix of hands on work and continuous improvement activities as well as coaching of staff on site in best practice maintenance methodologies and Root Cause Analysis Other key responsibilities include Reviewing machine performance and machine efficiency to develop improvement solutions Sponsoring compliance with a focus on work method safety and routine servicing of essential services Perform Root Cause Analysis on all critical failures of plant within the manufacturing business Assisting with planning and coordination of major refit activities Coaching and developing trade qualified employees Review effectiveness of spare parts and develop methodology for introduction of nonstandard parts or equipment About You We re looking for Manufacturing Engineers who enjoy a challenge and have an eye for continuous improvement A strong leader and problem solver by nature you ll have an eye for opportunities to improve efficiencies and the know how to craft a best in practice working program for maintenance Other things we re looking for include A qualification in Mechanical Engineering Experience in FMCG Food Manufacturing with 2 years experience in a brewery and 5 years experience in a bottling facility Extensive knowledge in Krones and FMC Technologies Extensive knowledge about Krones Bottle Filler FMC Pasteurizers Retorts all the components how they work and how to fix Experience in machines such as Krones FMC Quickflex Wrapapack A qualification in Quality Management would be desirable Strong project management planning capability with prior experience in implementation or project delivery at site level Solid software applications SAP and highly savvy with all MS products Demonstrated success leading strong and successful teams An innate ability to communicate up and down the business with a broad variety of people Why Asahi Asahi Beverages is one of the leading beverage companies in Australia and New Zealand With a rich and varied history Asahi Beverages manufactures and markets quality alcohol and nonalcohol beverages boasting a strong portfolio of established household brands and innovative newtomarket products When you join us at Asahi Beverages you have an opportunity to make a significant contribution while developing your career within an expanding FMCG company Its an exciting time to join Asahi Beverages one of the top beverage companies in Australia and New Zealand If this sounds like you we would love to hear from you
