Working inWellingtonwith our high-profile clients across both the public and private sectors, as aData Analytics Manager/Senior Manageryou’ll will work as part of a broader DnA, Advisory and EY teams develop your skills and to contribute to meaningful change for New Zealand and New Zealanders. We seek hard working, experienced and technically capable data professionals who are team players and who have ambition for themselves and the teams and clients they work with.
We are seeking people with experience of large and complex data engineering, migrations and a good handle on core analytics and emerging technologies for this domain. Successful candidates will be client and service centric, will be experienced problem solvers and team leaders and ideally will have experience succeeding when facing significant delivery challenges or issues in the past.

Your key responsibilitiesAssisting our clients to develop data and analytics strategies, and supporting roadmaps, initiatives and programs that leverage data and analytics to provide timely, actionable insights to enable our clients to make better decisions
Providing thought leadership on how our clients can leverage innovative and traditional analytical technologies to deliver business value
Assisting clients to define and implement effective data governance frameworks, covering people, process, technology and data, and master data management initiatives
Supporting client data transformation programmes, including the design and execution of data migration work streams
The use of data platforms and analytical solutions to integrate, analyse and visualise structured and unstructured data providing fact-based insights that identify opportunities to improve business performance
You’ll apply your knowledge and experience to shape and deliver our services. You’ll build valuable relationships with clients and develop strong capabilities, through both formal training and working with senior mentors and talented colleagues on our local and global teams.
Skills and attributes for success
EY is currently looking for candidates with 5 years or more experience who can demonstrate strong knowledge of some of the following;
Defining data and analytics strategies, and supporting roadmaps, initiatives and programs
Data governance, including processes, controls and risk management of data
Data quality management, including master data and reference data management
Data migration strategic planning, delivery and execution
Experience with data governance and data management toolsets, such as Informatica, Talend, SAP Information Steward, IBM Infosphere, Collibra, SAS Data Management, etc.
Ideally, you'll also haveAn understanding if Big Data and Data Warehouse architectures, analytical solutions, and the use of relevant development methodologies (e.g. AGILE); and the integration of structured and un-structured data
Data architecture and data modelling, including relational and star schema modelling
