Manager / Senior Manager, Data Engineering (DTID) Manager / Senior Manager, Data Engineering (DTID) This position sits within the Digital Transformation, Innovation and Data (DTID) Division in A*STAR HQ.Job ResponsibilitiesSetup and manage the data infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.Develop and operationalize the ELT (Extract-Load-Transform) data pipelines and ensuring performance and scalability for ingesting and processing data from multiple sources.Support data quality through data profiling and data cleansing with the data stewards.Perform creation of data mart/stores for effective data governance, cataloguing and sharing.Work with and assist stakeholders, including Data Stewards and Data Scientist, on discovering and preparing the right data sets and supporting their data needs.Responsible for providing the operational support and maintenance of the data & analytics infrastructure platform and system.Job RequirementsDegree in computer science, information technology, business analytics, data science and artificial intelligence, software/computer engineering or relevant disciplines.Possess at least 2 years of experience working in data pipeline, data ingestion, data integrations, data quality/cleansing, ETL, data catalogue and data warehousing.Good hands-on in Python scripting and SQL languages, and knowledge in data modelling & data structure.Experience in using data management and data warehousing tools such as Snowflake and Microsoft Azure Cloud Data Services etc, will be an added advantage.Hands on experience or knowledge of cloud infrastructures such as MS Azure or AWSExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Possess good analytical, logical and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Excellent engagement & inter-personal skills to build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with stakeholders.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Fresh graduates who are keen in data engineering are also welcomed to apply.Company information Registration No.T08GB0002CReport this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.Join millions of job-seekers around the world using our career-shaping tools and insights.Research salaries and job trendsAccess free tools, templates and articles that help you stand outDiscover pathways to a huge range of careers#J-18808-Ljbffr
