This position has primary responsibility for the operational management and co-ordination of services provided in the Radiology department at Taranaki Base Hospital. You will have the opportunity to combine your clinical and leadership knowledge for the:- Effective allocation of resources to provide delivery of radiology services at all sites to facilitate efficient unit function and management
- Promotion of quality practice and care, and support for the development of new processes and systems within the department. Evidence based practice is supported
- Facilitation of multi-disciplinary teamwork and integration of service provision with TDHB
- Demonstration of effective leadership skills and responsibility for staff performance monitoring and management
- Delivery of an effective and efficient customer service to internal and external clients
The successful applicant will have the NZIMRT qualification as a registered radiographer, or NZIMRT recognised equivalent overseas qualification. You will have the ability to
Build an effective and integrated service by developing and promoting a team culture that fosters collaborative working relationships.
Ensure an open and effective communication flow is maintained between team members, and both internal and external customers/stakeholders
Ensure the service operates efficiently and effectively within the resources available
