Job DescriptionTo promote NUS Mechanical Engineering programmes and attract prospective students and faculty/researchers through digital and print platforms, with a focus on content creation and event management.
Additionally, provide support for alumni and donor engagement, as well as student life.The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Develop, produce, and oversee content for publicity materials such as brochures, newsletters, and online platforms.
Manage digital presence across online platforms, including the department's website and social media channels.Organise and support outreach events and activities such as open houses, information sessions, workshops, and campus tours to engage and attract prospective students.Manage alumni relations via communications (e.g., newsletters), coordinating alumni events, curating alumni profiles, and facilitating mentorship programs, guest lectures, and other activities.Assist in donor outreach efforts, contributing to development strategies and fostering relationships with potential and current donors.Work with the various CDE units to align on efforts in outreach, communications, and alumni/donor relations.Collaborate with and provide support to student clubs in outreach and administrative matters.QualificationsDegree holder with at least a few years of working experienceGood written skills essentialProficiency in using digital communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systemsEnjoy interacting with people and organising and running eventsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamVideography and photography skills are a plusMore InformationLocation: Kent Ridge CampusOrganization: College of Design and EngineeringDepartment: Mechanical EngineeringEmployee Referral Eligible:Job requisition ID: 27177
