Otamure Bay (Whananaki) lies almost 30 km north of Whangarei, near Whananaki North on Northland's East Coast.
The camp is located on a beach-front setting with large pohutukawa trees for shade. Visitors enjoy relaxing on the beach or walking along the coast.
The Department of Conservation are seeking two Campsite Managers who are motivated and passionate about providing a unique and enjoyable camping experience for all.
The roles will see you engaging with campers, maintaining facilities, with the opportunity to carry out projects such as painting and landscaping.
The successful applicants will receive a monthly salary and an end of term bonus, along with accommodation provided in a recently built 3-bedroom house for the duration of the term.
Please note: individual applicants will not be considered as this contract is required to be filled by aminimum of two people.
Desirable Skills:
Previous camp or accommodation management experience
Customer relations experience
Small business management experience
Experience with IT systems
Groundskeeping experience
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
