The team is part of the wider Service Design & Implementation branch which contributes to the Immigration System by designing and delivering changes that meet the needs of our people and our customers.
As the Manager of the Immigration Learning team you will be responsible for:Leading the development of an Immigration Learning strategy that aligns with the strategic objectives of INZ and MBIE's enterprise learning approaches to support kaimahi to be successful in their work every day.Anticipating the future learning needs of kaimahi and preparing annual plans to ensure that the Immigration catalogue of learning products is suitable to meet those needs.Providing strategic advice, insight and leadership for innovative learning strategies and solutions, ensuring that an appropriate and sustainable mix of delivery modes is in place to meet the needs of INZ.Working with a leadership team to lift the capability of the Immigration Learning team in preparation for an exciting upcoming programme of work.Skills and Experience RequiredSubstantial track record of experience and achievement in working with a team to deliver high quality learning solutions and strategic learning advice.Proven experience in the development and implementation of learning and capability uplift strategies.Expertise in robust evaluation of learning and its measurable outcomes for an organisation.Credibility with senior leaders as an expert in adult learning who is able to troubleshoot complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.Ability to be flexible and pragmatic and to quickly adapt to changing needs in a dynamic and fast-moving business environment.Must be a New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident.MBIE's goal is to create a resilient and high-performing economy that delivers real and ongoing quality of life for all New Zealanders.
