Reporting to the Group Manager Corporate Services, this is a key role providing essential financial insights and strategic guidance to the Council and the Senior Leadership team to enable informed decision-making.You will oversee the delivery of efficient, high-quality accounting, financial, analytical, procurement, and contract services across the organisation.
Your efforts will be essential in ensuring we meet statutory compliance and provide exceptional value for our ratepayers.Moreover, you will offer strategic advice to the Council, the Chief Executive, and the Senior Leadership Team regarding the Council's financial landscape.
You will be accountable for the financial components of the Long Term Plan, Annual Plans, and Annual Report.
