We have an exciting opportunity for aManager, Communications Service Centreto be a part of our Communications and Corporate Affairs Team within Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink. Reporting to the Director Communications, Media and Public Affairs, this new role, will lead the development and implementation of a service delivery operating model for the newly created Communications Service Centre
Leading a team of design and service centre specialists, this dynamic role will develop and implement an account management approach to the delivery of services to support communications activities across the major directorates within Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink,
This role will provide strategic advice and guidance to Communication Managers within the business as well as work closely with management in the delivery of: the development and management of campaigns, coordinates enterprise level events including visiting delegations, oversights all branding and creative services output, assists in the development of general communications, oversights the editing and publication of reports and other communications collateral, ensures the adequacy of a suite of digital communication channels that provide staff with the information and peer collaboration they need. The role also plays a part in stakeholder and relationship management.
We are looking for aManager, Communications Service Centrewho can:
Provide high level advice to the Director, Communication Managers and line management on all brand, design, events and communication channel matters in order to deliver on internal and external communications plans and strategies.

Ensure effectiveness of all corporate communication channels, including digital and emerging channels.

Provide regular reports and use evidence to support continuous improvement within the Service Centre.

Oversight all corporate level events, including coordinating the annual events calendar and consulting with stakeholders to develop a consistent approach to awards and recognition events.

Oversight communications campaigns and collaborate with Communications Managers, TfNSW and other key stakeholders to deliver on the campaign outcomes.

In consultation with the Director and Communications Managers, prioritise and allocate workflow to meet the demands of the business.

Drive the development of creative content and oversight the preparation of engaging, strategically aligned content and collateral for internal and external channels including reports, presentations, social and digital media content, stories, speeches, briefs, newsletters and forums.

Identify opportunities to increase staff commitment by working closely with all communication teams.

Liaise with TfNSW on brand and advertising compliance and engage across the cluster with a view to continually improving the image of the agency.

Maintain oversight and stewardship of a library of multimedia assets (including photographs, videos and presentations) accounting for all required metadata and accessibility.

Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Communications or related field.

Demonstrated experience in providing considered advice to senior leadership.

Managing a Communications function or Centre of Excellence in a large complex organisation.

Demonstrated superior judgement in managing team and individual workflows in fast moving complex organisations.

Demonstrated experience in working with digital media technologies and EDM systems.

Previous background from a Design Agency/Ad Agency ( preferred)

Previous exposure to Account Management and Client Services background
