Management Accountant

We're looking for a Management Accountant for a 6-month contract reporting directly to the Finance Controller based in Hokitika. You will assist in the delivery of monthly management reporting for the Westland Milk Products parent to the Financial Management team, the Senior and Executive Leadership teams and the Board.
Key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining financial, taxation and regulatory fixed asset registers
Conducting the approval, reporting and capitalization of capital work in progress
Preparing monthly and annual financial reporting in relation to fixed assets and capital expenditure
Providing business support for the Infrastructure and Project Delivery team
Assisting in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets
What you'll need to succeed:
Management Accountant experience
Experience in fixed asset accounting, including maintaining capital work in progress
Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
A flexible and enthusiastic and pro-active approach
High level of attention to detail
