Successful, growing NZ Company Competitive Remuneration Staff Benefits Horizon Energy Group Limited is recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant. This is a permanent full time position, based in the Penrose, Auckland office.
The Horizon Energy Group owns and operates an electrical contracting and infrastructure construction business, in multiple locations, and a nationwide heating, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration construction and servicing business, and also operates in the South Pacific. You will join a focused, friendly and supportive team of professionals committed to being successful through continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your primary focus will be to deliver the management accounting functions for the Facility Services and Electrical business units within the Horizon Energy Group.
To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:
University Accounting/Business degree
NZ Accounting qualification or similar
Minimum 5+ years' working as a Management Accountant in a commercial business
Preferred experience working in a facility services / contracting business
Proven knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards
Proven experience in reporting at senior management level
Proven experience working in tier 2 or higher ERP (Pronto experience preferred)
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel)
High level of computer skills
Independent problem solving techniques
Proven time management skills
