MANAGED NETWORK ENGINEER

Your role, your journey | Te Huarahi Whakatipu

With good network support experience, certifications, and knowledge in CCNA and JNCIA you'll have experience with a variety of vendor networking equipment such as Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, Aerohive and Nokia GPON. As well as knowledge of routing and switching protocols including STP, VRRP, LACP, VLAN's, VRFs, BGP and framed routes.

You will bring experience in network monitoring and management systems including Nagios, Cacti, Weathermaps, Smokeping, Syslog, SNMP and Splunk.

You will need an eye for detail and not be afraid to innovate and deliver disruptive ideas.

How you'll show up | Tu mai Tu Rangatira

* Provide technical expertise and support for our managed services customers LAN's, WAN's, WiFi, FttD (GPON) and security solutions.
* Take ownership for handling incidents, moves/adds/change requests and other information requests as required to support customers, both internal and external.
* Ensure there is effective communication with our customers, across the business and with our vendors and partners.
* CPE lifecycle management (golden configuration, patching, RMA)
