MAINTENANCE & YARD HANDOur client is a leading provider of high-quality portable buildings in Auckland, known for their durable, well-designed structures and exceptional customer service.
They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join their team, ensuring products and facilities are kept in top condition.Location, days, hours & rates:West AucklandMonday to Friday08:00 to 17:00$25 to $35 per hour depending on experienceTemp to permKey Responsibilities:Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on portable buildings, including inspections, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance.Cleaning: Clean and prepare sheds for delivery or display, ensuring they are in pristine condition.Facility Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the yard and workshop facilities, including equipment upkeep and general repairs.Inventory Management: Track maintenance supplies and tools, reporting shortages or needs.Customer Service: Interact with customers to address maintenance-related inquiries or concerns.Systems Management: Manage the hire system for the Auckland yard, including tracking buildings in and out, repairs, servicing, stocktaking, and arranging deliveries.Qualifications:Proven experience in maintenance or a similar role, preferably in construction or portable building industry.Ability to diagnose and fix various maintenance issues.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Successful candidates must:Have reliable transport.Hold a full Class 1 NZ driver's license.Provide two contactable work references.Pass a pre-employment drug test.Consent to a criminal background check.If interested, please apply online with your current CV.About OneStaff: OneStaff is a NZ-owned industrial recruitment specialist with 16 branches across NZ.
